6 STEPS
TO YOUR MALTA CITIZENSHIP

1 Residency

2 options:

  • Apply for citizenship after 1 year of Malta residency, contributing € 750k
  • After 3 years, contributing € 600k

2 Eligibility Check

  • Once residency card is issued
  • The eligibility pack to be submitted within next 12 months

3 Due Diligence

  • Government due diligence check

4 Passport Application

  • 18 years of age or older (main applicant)
  • Investment requirements successfully fulfilled
  • Medical insurance with global coverage
  • Clean criminal records
  • No national security potential risk
  • No reputational risks
  • No criminal proceedings

Contributions

Exceptional Direct Investment in the economic and social development of the Republic of Malta.

Main Applicant:

  • 3 years residency €590,000
  • or
  • less than 3 years residency €740,000

Each Dependant:

  • €50,000

Charity

  • €10,000

Donation to a registered philanthropic, cultural, sport, scientific, animal welfare or artistic non-governmental organization or society, or as otherwise approved by the agency.
